Bachelor – provides in-depth knowledge of one of the areas of higher education, the duration of study is at least four years, ending in higher education and a diploma of basic specialization.

A master’s degree is a higher education that lasts at least two years on the basis of a bachelor’s degree in a particular specialty, the study of which ends with the final qualification state certification and the defense of a master’s thesis.

The postgraduate study lasts 3 years on the basis of a master’s degree and ends with the defense of a candidate dissertation and the obtaining of a “candidate of science” degree in the chosen specialty.

The doctoral program lasts 3 years on the basis of the degree of candidate of sciences, ending with the defense of a dissertation for the degree of doctor of science.

Direct management of the university is carried out by its rector.

The rector comes from the Latin word “rector”, which means the head of a higher educational institution. The rector is appointed by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan on the basis of the “National Training Program” (you will have full information about the program during the training) at the university he leads. responsible for the implementation of a unified state policy in the field of education. Vice-rectors in higher education institutions mainly work on the following issues: vice-rector for spirituality and education; Vice Rector for Academic Affairs; Vice Rector for Research and Information Technology; Vice-rector for Economics and Entrepreneurship.

Faculties are organized within the framework of a higher educational institution in the field of education and specialties. The faculty can usually organize the educational process in several areas of undergraduate studies.

The faculty comes from the Latin word “fakultas”, which means the educational, scientific and administrative department of a higher educational institution. The faculty is headed by the dean. Depending on the direction, the faculty may have several departments.

Departments are organized in the field of general education, general professional or specialization.

The department is the primary and main educational and scientific center of the university. The department is headed by its head.

Independent work is a form of independent organization of theoretical training. At the same time, students work with educational and scientific literature, including via the Internet, independently improve their knowledge and skills in their field at enterprises, research institutes, and laboratories. After completing a certain part of the curriculum, qualification practice is usually held at the end of the spring semester.

Qualification practice is carried out in order to consolidate theoretical knowledge about the educational process, the development of practical skills. The student writes a report on the results of the internship and defends it in a special commission. Each higher education institution has its own library.

IRC is a cultural, educational and information center that organizes public access to textbooks and other educational literature. All students studying in a higher educational institution have the right to use library services, and in the learning process, each student can receive the necessary textbooks for a certain period of time.

Student Housing – Provides temporary housing for students from other regions during the study period. The application is submitted to the dean of the faculty to obtain a place in the hostel. After considering the application in the prescribed manner, the student will be provided with housing, the necessary conditions will be created for students living in the hostel.

The hostel has an internal procedure that all students must follow. Internal rules – the hostel administration notifies the student who is engaged in illegal activities. If this does not work, you will be deprived of your place of residence.

Scholarship (lat. Stihendium – payment, salary) – regular (monthly) payment to students studying in the full-time department of a state university with good grades. The size of the scholarship and the procedure for its payment are determined by the relevant regulatory acts.
