Admission quotas for 2022/2023 academic year approved
In accordance with the Decree of the President “On the organization of the process of admission to state higher educational institutions”, the Decree “On the parameters of the state procedure for admission to higher educational institutions of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the 2022/2023 academic year” was adopted.
According to him, the total quota of parameters of the state order for admission is set at 121,395 people.
👉 BACHELOR – 110,707 people:
full-time education – 77,477 people;
part-time education – 26,095 people;
evening education – 3725 people;
distance learning – 3,410 people;
👉MASTURE – 10 688 people.
✔️ It is also planned that more than 50,000 admission parameters for payment-contract of 36 public higher education institutions that have gained financial independence will be approved by the Supervisory Board. As a result, admission parameters for the current academic year will increase compared to the previous year.

⚡️ Adopted “On the organization of admission to state higher educational institutions.”
➡️ According to the document, from the 2022/2023 academic year in state higher education institutions:
The parameters of the state order for admission are approved by the decree of the President;
A form of distance learning will be introduced in the areas of undergraduate studies;
Admission to the magistracy is carried out on the basis of the average score of the bachelor’s degree and the corresponding national or international certificate of the level of knowledge of a foreign language, there is no examination in the specialty.
Admission to the magistracy is held twice a year – in August and January.
🔖 Starting from the 2023/2024 academic year, the parameters of the state procedure for admission to state higher educational institutions are approved only on the basis of a state grant.
🔰 The following procedure for transferring students to state higher educational institutions is introduced:
➡️ According to him, the transfer of students from state universities is allowed only in the following cases:
➖ when a student applies for the transfer of education to a higher educational institution in the area of permanent residence of the spouse in connection with marriage;
➖ on the proposal of the head of the relevant ministry (department) when employees of state bodies apply for the transfer of education of his spouse or minor child in case of a change of job.
For reference, the transfer of education from foreign countries and branches of foreign universities and non-state higher educational institutions operating in our country to state higher educational institutions is organized in accordance with the current procedure.
The powers of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education are also expanding. In particular, the parameters of the state procedure for admission to institutions of secondary specialized and vocational education are approved by the ministry in agreement with the relevant ministries and departments.
