History of the Faculty of Engineering of construction materials
After our independence, in 1992, by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute was transformed into a separate independent Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. In 1977, the Jizzakh “General Engineering” faculty of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute was established. In 1980, he worked at the Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, where taught many specialists in the field of “Industrial and civil construction”, “Production of building materials” to the national economy of the republic and the region.
By this time, the faculties of the Tashkent Institute of Automobile Roads in Jizzakh “General Engineering”, the Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology of the Jizzakh “General Engineering” were merged into the Institute, and 5 faculties began to function as part of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. These are: “Construction”, “Engineering and Economic”, “Automechanics”, “Chemical and Technological”, “Evening Correspondence”.
The current resolution of the Faculty of Architecture and Construction №. 157 of June 12, 2014 “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers №. 187 of June 29, 2012 “On Improving the Activities of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute”, as well as Higher and secondary education. In order to ensure the order of the Ministry of Special Education dated June 14, 2014 № 229, on the basis of “Motor Transport” and the Faculty of “Industrial Technologies and Construction”, the faculties “Industrial Technologies and Construction” were created under the name “Engineering of Buildings and Engineering Structures”.
According to the new structure of the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute, established on July 1, 2020, the Faculty of Building Materials Engineering was established.
Currently, the dean of the Faculty of Engineering of Building Materials is headed by Mirzabekov Mirkomil Saidakhmadovich.

Bobojonov Rovshan Tursinovich Deputy Dean for Youth Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering of construction materials. He was born 1987 in Bakhmal district of Jizzakh region. Nationality is Uzbek. Member of UzLiDeP. Higher education. In 1991, he graduated from the faculty of road construction, Tashkent automobile and road Institute.
Currently, the faculty of “Engineering of construction materials” includes the following departments:
1. “Technology of building materials, products and structures”
2. “General Technical subjects”
3. “Engineering and computer graphics»
4. “Building materials science”
The faculty of “Engineering of construction materials” has five departments:
1. Department of “Technology of building materials, products and structures”, head of the department (PhD)s Berdiyev Obloqul Bobokulovich,
2. Department of “General Technical subjects” — head of the department (PhD) Turmatov Jaloliddin Rakhmatullayevich
3. Department of “Engineering and computer graphics” — head of the department (PhD) Aynaqulov Muxitdin Abduxamidovich
4. Department of “Building materials science” (the department will begin its work on August 10, 2021 with the formation of the staffing table and training sessions)
