History of the faculty “INDUSTRIAL TECHNOLOGIES”

In 1977, the Jizzakh “General Technique” faculty of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute was established. In 1980, he worked as a Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute, where he has provided many specialists in the field of “Industrial and Civil Construction”, “Manufacture of building materials” to the national economy of the republic and the region.

After independence, in 1992, the Jizzakh branch of the Tashkent Polytechnic Institute was transformed into a separate independent Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute by the decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan. By this time, the faculties of Tashkent Institute of Motor Roads in Jizzakh “General Engineering” and Tashkent Institute of Chemical Technology Jizzakh “General Engineering” were merged into the structure and 5 faculties began to function within the Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute. These are: “Civil Engineering”, “Engineering Economics”, “Automechanics”, “Chemical Technology”, “Evening-correspondence” faculties.

During this time, the faculty taught Architecture of Buildings and Structures, Water Supply and Sewerage; There were such departments as “Heating, gas supply and ventilation”, “Manufacture of building materials”.

The specialization departments trained specialists in such areas as “Industrial and Civil Construction”, “Manufacture of building materials”, “Water supply and sewerage”, “Heating, gas supply and ventilation”.

Current Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 157 of June 12, 2014 “On Amendments to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 187 of June 29, 2012” On Improving the Activities of Jizzakh Polytechnic Institute “, as well as In order to ensure the order of the Ministry of Secondary Special Education No. 229 of June 14, 2014, the faculties of “Industrial Technology” and “Engineering of Buildings and Engineering Structures” were established on the basis of the faculty of “Industrial Technology and Construction”. On June 1, 2020 the structure of faculties and departments of the institute was changed and the departments of “Textile processing”, “Natural fiber and fabric processing” and “Agricultural and food processing” were attached to the faculty, 2021 From September 2013, the department of “Ecology and Environmental Protection” was attached. Initially, the dean of the faculty was N. Tangyarikov. October 13, 2014 from 2016 to docent M. Aynakulov, from 2016 to 2021 docent. M. Pozilov worked as a dean of the faculty “Industrial Technologies”. Currently t.f.f.d., dots. Abbazov Ilhom Zapirovich heads the faculty of “Industrial Technologies”.
